Panathinaikos new stadium is a multi-use sports complex in Athens, Greece, that will host all departments of the Panathinaikos sports club. The arena will be located in the historic Votanikos area, west of downtown Athens.

The Votanikos area is a sizeable industrial zone that has been in decline for several decades. It currently houses mostly vacant, dilapidated storage and industrial facilities and has been in urgent need of redevelopment and improvements in infrastructure.

At the moment nothing is certain about the project as there are many problems that need to be resolved.

The Football Ground is going to be ready for the 100 years of the Greek Club in 2008, while the rest of the Complex will be completed by 2011.

The whole project includes a football Ground (42,000) and Basketball Stadium (8000), Volleyball Stadium (3000), Olympic Swimming pool, Gymnastic Fasilities etc
