Vreten is a subway station on the Stockholm Metro blue line. It was opened in 1985 and is located in the Huvudsta region of the Solna Municipality. The surrounding area being almost exclusively industrial, the station is closed during night hours, although trains still pass the platform. The platform is located in bedrock, 28 meters below ground level under Vretenvägen. The entrance is in the north end at Korta gatan. The station's theme is defined by artwork created by Takashi Naraha in 1985 called Himmelen av kub (The heaven of cube).

Vreten is located in Solna Strand, which is an industrial area. For that reason, the metro does not stop there at night, not evening on weekends and holidays.
