Vulcan County is a municipal district in Alberta, Canada.
It is located in Census Division 6. The current boundaries of the municipality were set in 1951. The seat of the county is in the Town of Vulcan.

In the 2011 Census, Vulcan County had a population of 3,875 living in 1,104 of its 1,433 total dwellings, a 4.2% change from its 2006 population of 3,718. With a land area of 5,429.5 km2 (2,096.3 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.71369/km2 (1.84846/sq mi) in 2011.[2]
The population of Vulcan County according to its 2007 municipal census is 3,830.[3]
In 2006, Vulcan County had a population of 3,718 living in 1,446 dwellings, a 1.6% decrease from 2001. The county has a land area of 5,430.06 km2 (2,096.56 sq mi) and a population density of 0.7 /km2 (1.8 /sq mi).[4]
In 2001, Vulcan County had a population of 3,778 in 1,348 dwellings, a 0.8% decrease from 1996. On a surface of 5,429.62 km² it had a density of 0.7 inhabitants/km².[5]
