WBJZ (104.7 FM, "B104") is a Pop Contemporary Hit Radio formatted radio stationlicensed to Berlin, Wisconsin, that serves the Fox Valley in Northeastern Wisconsin. The station is operated by Marty Schibbelhut's Martini Media, broadcasting from Oshvegas Palms Resort in Oshkosh. While other stations, both big and small, look to trim away staff and community involvement to reward their wallets, B104 continues to be more involved in the communities they serve while also adding more air staff. Currently, Marty in the Morning (5a-10a); Jen Austin (10a-2p); Alex Mason (2p-7p); PJ at Nite (7p-11p) make up the weekly lineup. Weekends include the Marty, Jen and Alex during the day, along with Weekend Talent Stacy K; while Home Grown "Club B" with DJ Galaxy runs Saturday night; Newcomer Dustin D hits the airwaves on the Sunday B from 7a-8a to round out the local Hive. B-104 carries no satellite broadcasting of any kind, but does broadcast the popular AT40 w/Ryan Seacrest on Sunday evenings from 8p-12p. B-104/Martini Media is proving that money and ratings alone don't make a great station or a great company. Commitment to your community does.
The station' first format was country music.[when?] Afterwards, the station broadcast blues, jazz, classical and standards and was replaced with country music in 2003. The following year, the station started airing smooth jazz until April 3, 2006. The station was then run under a Local Marketing Agreement (lMA) by Radio Plus of Fond du Lac, WI (company) and started airing adult contemporary with the branding "Magic 104". In April 2008, the LMA agreement with Radio Plus expired and was picked up by Martini Media, based out of Oshkosh, WI and changed the branding from "Magic 104" to "#1 for Hits and Fun, the All New B-104".
The station is owned by Caxambas Corporation and featured programming from Dial GlobalHits Now! from July 2008 until March 16, 2009. The station's headquarters are located at the OshVegas Palms Resort in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
