[edit] Requirements and features
WITSuite only requires one zip file to be downloaded and run, and very little configuration of the various components that make up the web server is required. WITSuite is regularly updated to incorporate the latest releases of Apache/MySQL/PHP. Installing WITSuite requires only a small fraction of the time necessary to download and configure the separate programs. The result is self-contained, multiple instances can exist on a computer.
Differently from other WAMP software bundles, WITSuite does not include packages. It downloads its original distribution archives and installs them.
[edit] Applications
WITSuite's developers only intended it for use as a development tool, to allow website designers and programmers to test their work on their own computers without any access to the Internet.
