91.5 WKCL serves the Christian community of Charleston, SC with a blend of three styles of music: Southern Gospel, Praise & Worship and Adult Contemporary Christian music. WKCL is owned and operated by the Holy Spirit Bible College and Chapel of the Holy Spirit in Ladson, SC and serves the Charleston area. WKCL began broadcasting at 3000 Watts, 6 am-12 midnight on January 11, 1981. Currently operates at 100,000 Watts, 24 hours, 365 days a year. March 2002, WKCL became digitally mastered with a better sound quality for its listeners. Support comes in the form of listener contributions and underwriting from local individuals, businesses and churches. From the beginning WKCL has blended three strands of music into one (Southern Gospel, Praise & Worship and Contemporary) and also offers some teaching programs.

As a public service station, WKCL has been a powerful vehicle to local churches to share announcements for thousands of Christian community events on an annual basis.
