WTSN is an AM broadcast station licensed to Dover, New Hampshire. It broadcasts with 5,000 watts of power. It currently is the only station in New Hampshire that broadcasts the New York Yankees games]. The station also carries select Fox Sports programming including live high school sports. Andy Schachat is the sports director of the station, and Mike Pomp is the news director and hosts the award-winning Open Mike Show. Mark Edwards is the station's general manager.
WTSN's most popular show is the Morning Information Center with Paul LeBlanc. The host, Paul LeBlanc, has hosted a WTSN morning show for over 40 years, having started at WTSN in 1964. He will retire on July 11, 2008, after 44 years with the station. The "Morning Information Center" will then be hosted by Mike Pomp.[1]
WTSN's weekend news programming features Pat Kelly.
WTSN was named the New Hampshire AM Radio Station of the year in 2006 by The New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters. WTSN AM/1270 was named the 2007 New Hampshire Radio Station of the year by the same broadcast organization.
