Walpi (Navajo: Deezʼáahjįʼ) is a village in Navajo County, Arizona, north east of Flagstaff. It is on First Mesa in the Hopi Reservation. It is inhabited mainly by the Hopi-speaking Pueblo (Tewa), several of whom (about half a dozen in number) live without running water or electricity. Walpi is one of the oldest continuously inhabited villages in the United States.[citation needed]
