Walter D'Arcy Cresswell

Walter D'Arcy Cresswell (22 January 1896–21 February 1960) was a New Zealand poet, journalist and writer. He was born in Christchurch, Northern Canterbury, New Zealand on 22 January 1896.[1] As an out gay man, Cresswell blackmailed Charles Evan Mackay, then mayor of Wanganui.[2]
