Walton-on-the-Naze railway station serves the town of Walton-on-the-Naze in Essex, England. The station is the terminus of the single line branch which leaves the Clacton line at Thorpe-le-Soken.
The station was renamed from Walton-on-Naze to Walton-on-the-Naze, reflecting the name of the town it serves, on Tuesday 8 May 2007 when new signage was launched by local musicians, The Onion Band.[1]
