Washington School is a Bilingual school (offering both English language and Spanish language) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which offers education in both elementary and secondary levels. The school also offers the International Baccalaureate and AICE programs.

The history of the school throughout the last fifty years let us witness and, at the same time, be part of deep and sudden changes in the educational field of our country. Today, at the beginning of the new millennium, we are to face even more vigorous and demanding challenges to build up the future. The integral approach provides the tools and the training necessary to assimilate and generate a new universe of social and cultural understanding. Founded by Ms Mercedes Mallo in 1950, Washington School has evolved under the motto "The best child, for the best man, for a better world". The development of the indivual as a person considering his physical, intellectual and spiritual aspects are the mian ideas. The importance given to different cultures in the process of self-identity construction together with the instilling of values such as respect, preservation of life, solidarity and critical thinking have always been aimed at exercising responsible freedom in their students.
