[edit] Route description

State Route 27 begins at the intersection with U.S. Route 195, about a mile south of Pullman. The highway heads north through western part of the town. It continues 15 more miles. The next town, Palouse, is traversed. There, it intersects with State Route 272, which leads to Colfax, about 10 or 15 miles (24 km) away. Meanwhile, Route 27 continues its route north. 9 miles (14 km) later, the next town, Garfield, is passed through. Another 12 miles (19 km) is passed, and the next town, Oakesdale, sits on Route 27. Half a mile north of the town, the highway intersects with State Route 271. The highway intersected leads to the town Rosalia, then to U.S. Route 195. Back on Route 27, about 11 miles (18 km) up the highway, the town of Tekoa, is the next town on the list. 8 miles (13 km) up, Latah is the next town that the highway passes through. The next towns, Rockford and Fairfield are passed. The last town, Spokane Valley, is passed. There, the highway is intersected with State Route 290, or Spokane's Trent Avenue.
