The Wasilla Multi-Use Sports Complex is a 2,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Wasilla, Alaska.[1] It is home to the Alaska Avalanche ice hockey team. It was originally funded by a 0.5 percentage point sales tax increase voted by residents, implemented by then-mayor Sarah Palin.[2] The cost went over budget due to an eminent domain lawsuit brought by the prior property owner, Gary Lundgren.[3]
