Watsonia is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Watsonia, on the Hurstbridge railway line. It is in Metcard Zone 2 and is classed as a Premium Station.[citation needed]

Watsonia station is located in a deep cutting, between the Greensborough Highway and Watsonia Road, with station access from both.

The station consists of two platforms, in an island format, with a large brick building in the centre. A large Metcard ticket vending machine is located at the entrance to the platforms, which are able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept Eftpos, notes and coins. Additional coin only Metcard & myki ticket vending machines are also located at the entrance.

A footbridge is located at the Flinders Street end of the station.

Watsonia station opened on 23 June 1924. It was known as Collina during construction.[1] The station was rebuilt in the late 1970s when this section of the line was lowered and duplicated. The station was upgraded from host to premium status in 2008.
