Weight of the World (Elton John song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Weight of the World" is a hit song from British pop-rock performer Elton John's 2004 album Peachtree Road. The song talks about his being happier currently during his days practically without any worries.
It references his days of using cocaine with the line I'm happy to see a sunset instead of a line. This is Bernie Taupin's way of saying that Elton now appreciates the simple things in life such as a sunset, rather than a line of cocaine.
