Weinan (Chinese: 渭南; pinyin: Wèinán) is a Municipality (prefecture-level city) in the province of Shaanxi, PRC. The Grand Historian Sima Qian was born in Weinan.

Administration

The municipal executive, legislature and judiciary are in Linwei District (临渭区), together with the CPC and Public Security bureaux.
