K College
South & West Kent College (trading as K College) is a college of Further and Higher Education in southeast England that was formed from the merger of West Kent College with South Kent College in April 2010. In 2009-10 it had 25,290 students across 5 campuses at Ashford, Dover, Folkestone, Tonbridge and Royal Tunbridge Wells.[1]
It has a Partner College status with the University of Greenwich, and further partnerships with the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University.[1] The Principal is Bill Fearon and the Patron is Lord Mayhew of Twysden.

The main West Kent campus in Tonbridge teaches a large number of A-level and vocational courses. It also runs teacher training courses, T U C Courses and has a Professional Development Centre. It has additional teaching courses on deaf issues and a dyslexia unit.

The college runs a Construction-orientated teaching centre based at Units 10 & 11, Kingstanding Way on the North Farm Industrial Estate in Tunbridge Wells called the Construction Crafts & Engineering Centre.
The college closed all its IT outreach centres in July 2006. These had been in Crowborough, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

The West Kent College Student Association has recently rebranded as WKC Student Union. The main rebrand involves developing a new logo, changing its name and initiating a consultation on its constitution.
The Student Union consists of a President, Vice-President and Communications Officer as well as 6 Union Officers who have a mixed remit to cover all the facets of student representation. Details of elections and the Student Union can be found on Facebook as well as Moodle.
