West Midlands bus route 1 (Coventry) is a bus service in the city of Coventry in the West Midlands region of England.

The current route operates from Tile Hill North to Brade Drive via Earlsdon, Coventry City Centre & University Hospital (Walsgrave)

Previously route 1 linked Chapelfields with Toll Bar End


  • 2 April 2006 - Monday to Friday peak time timetable was altered to improve reliability, prior to that the timetable had remained unchanged for in excess of 12 years.
  • 26 Feb 2012 - This bus service was withdrawn.
  • 22 Oct 2012 - The tender for operating an extended Coventry service 1 (Tile Hill - Chapelfields - Earlsdon - City Centre - Binley Road - Walsgrave) is awarded to National Express Coventry.
