West Corporation (formerly West TeleServices) is an American company that is a provider of outsourced services, including customer relationship management (CRM) services, conference call services, privatized 911 service, automated business telephone systems , systems integration, help desks, business-to-business sales, responses to advertisements, and debt collection.[1][2]

West Corporation is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska[1] and currently employs approximately 35,000. The company was founded in 1986.[3]


West subsidiaries include:

  • InterCall, a teleconferencing service provider.[4]
  • Intrado, a supplier of telecommunications products and services to 911 systems in North America,[5] founded in 1979 as SCC Communications and acquired by West Corporation in 2006.[6] Intrado was publicly traded on NASDAQ beginning in 1998 under the ticker symbol TRDO.[6]


On April 22, 2011 West announced it was purchasing Louisville, Kentucky based Smoothstone IP Communications for $120m
