The Western Australia Angels is an expansion team in the Legends Football League set to begin play in the 2013 season. Based in Perth, Western Australia, the Angels will play its home games at the nib Stadium.[1]

The Angels are one of four charter team to play in the LFL Australia league, the other's are New South Wales Surge, Victoria Maidens, and Queensland Brigade, along with two additional teams in markets to be announced.

The Angels colours are a tribute to Western Australia's professional cricket team, the Western Australia Warriors.

History[edit]

It was announced by the Legends Football League on 24 January 2013, that the Forth franchise for LFL Australia the Western Australia Angels to be based at nib Stadium in Perth,[2][3]
