The Western Australian Prison Officers Union of Workers (WAPOU) is a trade union that represents prison officers in Western Australia. It is affiliated with the Australian Council of Trade Unions and the ALP (Australian Labor Party). It currently has over 1800 members throughout the public prison service.
It is part of the Prison Officers of Australasia organisation which represents Prison Offciers throughout the region.
