WiFi phone

A phone set up operate on a WiFi network using a VoIP protocol without a separate piece of hardware on the network.
Examples.
- An Android phone can be used as a WiFi phone with the combination of GrooVe IP and a Google voice number.[1]
- A smartphone with the Skype app installed.
- using the MobileVoIP app on an IPhone
- using the Nimbuzz service on a Wifi enabled phone
