Wiest is an unincorporated community in Imperial County, California.[1] It is located 6 miles (9.7 km) southeast of Calipatria,[2] at an elevation of 135 feet (41 m) below sea level.[1]
A post office operated at Wiest from 1907 to 1910 and from 1914 to 1933.[2] The name honors Daniel W. Wiest, an early settler.[2]
