Originally founded in 1888 in New York, The International Journal of Surgery is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering all aspects of clinical surgery, experimental surgery, surgical education, and history. It appears eight times a year and contains research papers, editorials, and review articles, as well as a forum for the exchange of ideas through a correspondence section. It was restored by Dr Riaz Agha in London in 2003.
