All of the users on this list adopt users. Those displaying are also willing to provide mentorship to users involved in dispute resolution, users who have been blocked (as part of a conditional unblock) and users who are subject to topic bans or other sanctions.
I've been around since 2008 and have worked in various areas of Wikipedia. I'm quite active on the maintenance side of things: At the moment, I tend to look into copyright concerns and page curation, as well as dealing with vandalism. You can sometimes find me helping new users by answering help and edit requests. Previously, I've contributed extensively to the WikiProject on user warnings and WikiProject Articles for Creation. I'm currently running an adoption school, you can find more details from my user page. If you'd like me to adopt you, please get in touch via my talk page.

Brambleberry of RiverClan (talk)
My main content interests are animals, mythology, and dog breeds. On Wikipedia I mainly do article writing, but I'm also a sufficient expander and competent revisor. I don't know a thing about coding, though. All my codes come from things already there. Drop me a note on my talk page if you wish to be adopted, and I'll set up your classroom, giving you a link. My real-life schedule is so busy that I'm not available to adopt anymore, but feel free to ask me questions.
I enjoy writing and editing articles about art, artists, history and social issues. I have written and edited a number of articles about the United States, United Kingdom, India and other paces. I like making and editing articles so that they are quality, cited articles - and like to nominate pages for the Did you know? section of the main page. There are a lot of tools that I've learned about to make some things simpler and I enjoy working with new people.
I have a wide range of interests including the history and geogaphy of south east England, anything on the front page that needs fixing, vandal fighting and issuing warnings for vandalism. I have written a number of new articles which have featured in the "Did you know?" section of the front page. I am always pleased to help other editors when I can or point them to someone with more specialised knowledge. Yes I work in British English for the most part.
Chris the Paleontologist (talk)
I have varied interests in Wikipedia. I spend some time here creating new paleontology-related articles for the "Did you know?" section of the main page. I also patrol new pages and participate in deletion discussions. I'm around often for help, and am willing to adopt anyone who wants to learn about the basics of writing articles, deletion discussions, and more. I'm usually around every day, so feel free to drop me a message. I haven't been active on Wikipedia for a while now. I may be accepting more adoptees in the future, but don't place any bets on it.
Hi! I'm Dusti. I'm active at Articles for Deletion, New Page Patrol, Third Opinion Requests and cleaning up vandalism. I find myself in each of those areas quite often. I love helping, and currently have one adoptee. You can send me a message on my talk page or via email. I live in Canada and am on EST. I speak English and Spanish.
I am a keen editor of Wikipedia and have been for two years. My main interests are technology, computing, programming, gadgets, branding, copyright, photography and government among many others! If you would like an adopter/ mentor simply drop me a line on my talk page and I'll do all I can to assist you in any way as you start your life as a Wikipedia editor!
Hi, I'm Gilderien, an editor from the north of England. A previous graduate of an adoption program myself, I am willing to provide advice on an informal basis, or run users through my Adoption School. I am also a Good Article Recruiter, and work generally in the topic areas of Mountains and Geography, Religious Buildings, and the DYK and GA projects.
Go Phightins! (talk)
I have been around for about two years and have experience in a variety of areas including the Teahouse, Articles for Deletion, and vandalism reversion as well as numerous other Wiki-Projects, mostly related to sports, but in other areas as well. I graduated an adoption course a while back and it was beneficial to me, so I thought I'd give back and adopt someone (or many people) myself. I've completed my my adoption school; a few past adoptees help me out with administrative work allowing me to take on additional adoptees. If you'd like to be adopted, you can either email me or contact me at my talk page. Thus far, I've had two adoptees graduate, about five disappear, two quit, and three in progress. I am currently taking one new adoptee...I have experience with users coming off blocks, brand new users, and users who have been around for a while but just want to further their skills.--Go Phightins!
I have been editing Wikipedia since 2006, and have been an administrator here on the English Wikipedia since 2010. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable about Wikipedia's policies, and am happy to help new users. I'm particularly experienced in anti-vandalism and cleanup work, but I can also help with article and image contribution. I'm a computer science student, and can also help a bit with bot work.
I have been an editor on Wikipedia since September 11, 2009. I really like to fight vandalism, fix grammar mistakes, and help people on Wikipedia. I am experienced in making articles more neutral and encyclopedic. Sometimes, I participate in deletion discussions. I would be happy to adopt anyone who needs help, including but certainly not limited to those who are subject to topic bans and other sanctions, those who have been blocked, and those who are involved in dispute resolution. If you need help, you can ask me, even if you are not one of my adoptees.
I've been here since December 2012, (really, that long?), and I really want to help out new users. I have a lot of interests: science, animals, computer games, but I find that my Wikipedia editing tends towards military history. Wikipedia can be hard to figure out; I think I can help. If you're interested, just leave a message at my talk page.
I have been on Wikipedia from 2009 and am extremely experienced in most areas of Wikipedia. Vandalism, moving pages and edits to articles are my best areas. I am set to receive email notifications whenever someone needs me and so will be always available. All users are welcome, and after graduation, I can still give you support, help in polls (if you deserve it).
I have been on Wikipedia since November 21, 2012. I learned the basics fairly quickly. I help out at articles for creation and am a host at the Teahouse. Also, I patrol new pages and welcome new users. Feel free to contact me by e-mail (faster) or my talk page if you request adoption or accept an offer. Due to school, I am not available Mondays-Fridays between the hours of 13:00 UTC and 21:00 UTC. Any other time, I'm online. Thanks, JHUbal27 Roar!
I am something of a WikiGnome, and spend much of my time here new pages patrolling, nominating pages for speedy deletion, and using STiki. I am also active at WP:RFPP, WP:UAA, and other such areas, and have created 130 or so articles. The weekends are the ideal time for me, but most days after 2 PM Central Time would be the ideal time to contact me.
I generally work on political articles, especially elections across the world (excluding the anglosphere) but i also occasionally dabble in other articles. At the moment i am online pretty often and check in to wikipedia regularly. Though after a few months i will be cutting down on availability. I've edited for at least 2 years.
Major theme-park and Disney fan, so you'll find me in articles related to theme parks, roller coasters, and such. Also dabble in video game articles. Will work in just about any article if I find some noteworthy information to add that isn't already there ... provided it's cited, of course.
I am a regular editor here at Wikipedia. I am both a rollbacker and reviewer. I usually patrol new pages, fight off vandals, and assist at the Dispute Resolution Noticeboard. I recently joined the Guild of Copy Editors because I want to focus more on improving articles rather than rejecting them. I consider myself an all-around editor that knows a little about a lot of things. I would love to adopt a new user and show them the ways of the 'pedia!
Hi, I'm MrX, and I want to adopt you! I have edited as an IP since June 2006, and as a registered user since April 2010. I am on the site almost every day, and will update this profile if that changes. My primary areas of interest are medieval history, biographies, LGBT related topics, civil rights, photography and science. Areas where I can help are formatting, uploading images, understanding policy and guidelines, fighting vandalism, negotiating content disputes and using some of the automated tools such as AWB, Twinkle, and STiki.
Hi there! I'm Newyorkadam. I registered on Wikipedia on 18 February, 2011. My first three edits were unconstructive edits :( However, I have since become a very active and (I think) helpful editor! I began actively editing in November 2013. I do lots of different things on Wikipedia, from adding content onto articles to removing typos on articles to talking with and helping other Wikipedians on the Wikipedia IRC channels! I'm currently judging the first ever Tyop Contest, a contest which aims to get rid of typos on Wikipedia :) That's my dog in the picture on the left, Kelly!
I'd like to help new users out. I've developed an extended curriculum for new adoptees. I have been active for a long time as editor and as a MediaWiki developer. I'm am independent researcher working on improving the adoption program and making wikipedia more fun for everyone in the community. BO | Talk 17:57, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Planet Herald (talk)
Hi, I'm Planet Herald, an editor from India. I am willing to help any new users who need adoption. I am good at astronomy topics and also being an RCP, can detect vandalism easily. For more info, contact me at my user talk page. I use Twinkle and other such automated tools extensively.
I am a teenager in southwest Washington, United States where I study Business Administration at a local community college with the hopes of becoming a politician as an adult. I focus primarily on content creation in political articles. Political articles tend to have a lot more... heated (although friendly, for the most part) debate and I have seen my fair share of it. I have become very familiar with the policies here on Wikipedia. I can help any one looking to add content. (I really appreciate all the anti-vandalism guys and the copyeditors, but I am too arrogant to do anything THAT helpful with so little thanks... I'll take this opportunity to add that I am a cynical and sarcastic person.) If you want to get involved with writing articles, learn more about compromise and find good ways to conduct research, please let me know here and I will set up a curriculum for you. Cheers. I'm an experienced editor and run an adoption program which involves lessons and tests copied from User:Worm That Turned. I will also help correct editing habits and answer any questions you may have. If you are interested in being adopted by me, please leave a message on my talk page. I'm a bit busy right now and probably won't be taking any new adoptees for a while.
I am an editor of almost four years, having joined in February 2010. My interests are aviation, military history, politics, technology, religion, and sociology. I have authored 28 good articles, 5 A-class articles and 2 featured articles. While I am familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and areas such as AFD and NPP, I want to impart all my knowledge pertaining to content creation and review. If you would like to primarily write articles and are looking for an adopter, please drop a note at my talk page.
I tend to end up doing mostly behind the scenes work and lots of minor changes. I'm pretty familiar with the site, and I'd be glad to help you out however I can. If you're interested in getting adopted, or just have questions, leave a message on my talk page or email me. My current and past adoptees are shown on userboxes on my user page.
I've been a Wikipedian since 2008 and an administrator since 2011. Although I'm experienced in most areas of Wikipedia, my primary interest has always been working with new users. Wikipedia is a place of limitless potential, but it can be a bit confusing at first! I hope I can make things easier. If I can help with anything at all, feel free to contact me!

I've been actively editing since February 2012, and have been around since 2010. I often work in the DYK and GA process, along with writing new articles. I'm often around after 4PM British Summer Time or Greenwich Mean Time weekdays. Willing to adopt one user at a time, so please contact me!
I have been a contributor on Wikipedia since 2006 and spend the majority of my time combating vandalism, helping out new users, working through dispute resolution and conflict of interests. My approach is to understand where you are coming from and where you want to go with your wiki-authorship/experience. I will ask a lot of open ended questions, and help direct you to the best resources available. I have been around a long time, but still don't know everything. I will periodically review your edits (if that is what you're looking for) to help direct you towards your goals.
Although I spend some time working on articles and maintaining the League of Copyeditors, which I founded, the majority of my time is spent doing recent change patrolling and working with WP:AIV. I'm online haphazardly from 6am to 11pm Pacific Standard Time. There is rarely a day that I don't come on at least for an hour or so, and typically I am on for 3-4 hours a day. I am willing to adopt up to two new users, both spots are currently open.
I've been active in many areas of Wikipedia, taking on whatever fits my interest at the time: article creation, anti-vandalism, article tagging, copy-editing, dispute resolution and others. These days I mostly deal with minor administrative tasks. I operate an adoption school for new adoptees, which covers most of the basic processes of Wikipedia.
Still can't find an adopter?
