WikiProject Cleanup is a resource for Wikipedia cleanup information and discussion. Cleanup issues that this project covers may include page layout, wikification, spelling, grammar, typographical errors, tone, and sourcing. All users are welcome to help in editing or fixing any page on these lists. Please remember to remove the appropriate tag(s) off the page after cleaning an article, then just strike-out the entry on this page using <s> </s>, which produces: (sample text). This retains the listing for historical reference regarding accomplishments of the project. Please also consider documenting improvements on an article's talk page or in edit summaries for the reference of other editors.

For comprehensive lists of pages requiring cleanup, which are automatically generated from the {{cleanup}} banners placed on articles, please refer to:

For older articles with issues that have not been dealt with in some time, refer to:

If you've arrived at this page from a link on a {{cleanup}} template that someone placed on an article, it most likely was because the article does not meet one or more of Wikipedia's standards on content and style. Try reading Wikipedia:Writing better articles to get a sense of what Wikipedia's standards are. The advice on that page should help editors to effectively clean up any article.

Information on the cleanup process may be found at Wikipedia:Cleanup process. Other resources may be found at Wikipedia:Cleanup resources and Wikipedia:Template messages/Cleanup, for help on posting problems with Wikipedia pages, or to use as a guide. For older entries, please refer to the project's archives.

  • Fair City - This article needs a major ref cleanup. Other than that, it seems fine to me. Tails3333 (talk) 18:01, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

May

  • Sensory overload - Long lists, little content. In addition, it looks like it could use some rearrangement, although I can't can't personally explain what exactly is off about it, simply that it looks off. --Pichu0102 (talk) 13:14, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
    • On second thought, it seems more like a candidate for AfD. --Pichu0102 (talk) 13:18, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
  • RC Lens - Club's history is very poorly written and needs grammar check. I've done slight clean up but more needs to be done.--NovaSkola (talk) 12:12, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
Update - I cleaned the history section up a bit grammatically, but it still could do with some sort of rewrite. Moony22 (talk) 10:44, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
  • Privacy-invasive software - Unfortunately I am not in a position to edit this article at this point because it has many problems. Several places adopt a editorial and non-encyclopedic tone, and at one point even shifts point of view to the first person plural, "We believe...". Do all editors believe that way? I am not sure I do. — Falerin<talk>,<contrib> 02:11, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

April

  • The Wonder Years - LOTS of unsourced material. The lede needs rewriting with preferably no sourcing. Needs to adhere more to MOS. More discussion of music and impact needed. Final episode/epilogue section needs to be chopped down considerably. More pictures would be nice. Basically, the whole article needs help! Twyfan714 (talk) 21:23, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
  • Jesse Mugambi – the lead needs to be rewritten, the article doesn't have enough links, and the page may be too long. Toccata quarta (talk) 15:25, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
  • IOS upgrade refusal - needs to be written in neutral point of view. Information isn't factual. References are messy. - Georgij Michaliutin (talk) 14:07, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
  • Waterdown District High School – needs to be reorganised. Toccata quarta (talk) 16:38, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

March

  • Applied Bunch of Special Means - Article is likely about a notable topic but is incomprehensible as written. It was almost certainly created by someone whose first language is not English. Even the title may be a poor translation. -Ad Orientem (talk) 20:10, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
  • Photoswitch - Needs internal continuity and elaboration. Rob Hurt (talk) 01:56, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

  • Shit - Has a cleanup tag placed in June 2011, with no specific cleanup rationale provided. Immediate cleanup matters from my assessment here involve copy editing and adding sources. Northamerica1000(talk) 09:08, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Baz Mohammad Mubariz - where to start? No paragraphs, no sections, no sources, no wikilinks, no indication of importance or notability. Might even be a speedy. MaxBrowne (talk) 16:02, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
Update: The article was deleted per the delete result at the article's AfD discussion. Northamerica1000(talk) 08:44, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
I've performed some preliminary cleanup. The article would certainly benefit from improved sourcing and further copy editing. Northamerica1000(talk) 08:53, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
I did some minor copy editing. The article still needs more sources. Bold Edits (talk) 19:37, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
  • Merlin Entertainments - I just fixed a few glaring syntax errors (like two headings not having the same number of equals signs (=) on both sides, and a few wiki-links with a similar problem of not having the same number of brackets on both sides), but I'm sure there are many more. Most of these errors are in the "Operations" section". Of course, that section also has no citations at all... --V2Blast (talk) 00:22, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Added links, attempted cleanup, still requires more citations. jojo@nthony 13:09, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

  • Narayan Dutt Shrimali - An article about an Indian astrologer. Please check for notability and consider deletion. It has lots of material with no citations. - Kenfyre (talk) 10:07, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
I've removed the unsourced promotional content and stubbed it; the subject seems notable enough when I tried searching. -Ugog Nizdast (talk) 13:31, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
  • B. F. Skinner - Wierd formatting, possible inaccuracy, and a lot of section moving needed. Also might consider a semi-protect for a *lot* of vandalism. Kingsocarso (talk) 22:16, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Fooding - Several cleanup issues, including unformatted lists and many bare urls, both in the article and in the references section. Northamerica1000(talk) 08:06, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Ducati V-twin motorcycles - Tagged as being primarily in list format that may be better-presented in prose style; the "Bevel gear driven valves" section tagged as too long and as possibly needing rewriting. Northamerica1000(talk) 05:36, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Miss Nepal 2004 - Formatting; a lot of text is unnecessarily in bold typeface. Unsourced. Northamerica1000(talk) 05:20, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Chinese space program - The "History and recent developments" section is tagged as needing copy editing and to possibly be rewritten. Northamerica1000(talk) 05:05, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

August

  • Italian festivals - Several issues; needs formatting, has no sources, few other articles link to it. Northamerica1000(talk) 10:22, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Lowell Milken - The cleanup banner has been on this page since April 2013 regarding additional editors to qualify for a neutral point of view. There are also references that require proper sourcing. Perhaps some other editors can attend to the references on this page? Sarahkeen (talk) 21:16, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Hiv impact of education in ethiopia - Very essayish, needs extreme copyediting and retitling. Probably should also be expanded to worldwide scope, or at least a larger region than just Ethiopia.-- Brainy J ~~ (talk) 13:23, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
I changed the title to Relationship between education and HIV/AIDS.-- Brainy J ~~ (talk) 19:06, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

  • Ram Revilla, already a poorly written article, has been bombarded with massive amounts of unsourced detail that is probably a violation of WP:BLP. I recommend the page be stripped of all the huge cruft, with the needed information carefully reinserted. Beerest355 Talk 17:15, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

  • Rasoolpur needs an assessment of notability, fact checking, NPOV and citations. Kenfyre 17:37, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

  • List of water parks - General layout cleanup, organization and improved sourcing. Northamerica1000(talk) 09:10, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Silva Method - Grammar needs fixing. Article is more about José Silva than the Silva Method. Content about the method itself is mostly not encyclopaedic (e.g. list of countries). The Navbox template adds little value. Stelio (talk) 09:10, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
  • J. Sussman, Inc.- Needs a page cleanup jls738
Did some minor formatting, couldn't see any major clean-up problem. -Ugog Nizdast (talk) 13:14, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Attempted to lessen the one-sided, grandiloquent writing by (hopefully) removing personal observation, interpretation, and synthesis. Not perfect by any stretch. More help is welcomed!  :D Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:55, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

I worked on grammar and punctuation along with others and that seems to be handled.Coaster92 (talk) 22:28, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

February

I copyedited the whole thing, formatted all of the sources properly, added an infobox, started the talk page with a header that it was under the scope of WikiProject Visual arts, and added a stub tag at the bottom. öBrambleberry of RiverClan 16:18, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
  • New Jersey Turnpike - needs additional sources and formatting improvements. In addition, consistency with naming conventions such as the word "exit" (like in exit 5), the "E" should be lowercase in the body and lead. • Chach Nama and related articles - article and related ones regarding a chronicle of 7th-century India. Though listed as low-importance, there are abundant resources regarding this period of history and the articles could use better sourcing, restructuring, and content additions. dci | TALK 16:07, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Indian Institute of Planning and Management - cleanup tagged since December 2009. NPOv issues:favors IIPM in almost all topics. Advert templates. Controversy section and dubious citations. Primary sources. Tall claims.--Nizil (talk) 21:26, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Law of value - A subject of extreme WP:OWN as shown by the talk page. One of the largest articles on Wikipedia and is likely filled with original research. It needs to be condensed, made understandable and neutral.--Neoconfederate (talk) 00:25, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

  • Poor man's copyright – This article is full of original uncited research. Would benefit from a complete work-over to make sure what is said is factually backed. 12:57, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Lensman series – A long article that lacks appropriate inline citations. The plot section would benefit from abbreviation, and the article contains too much unsourced fancruft information. Northamerica1000(talk) 12:19, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Rongpa – This article about an Indian village would benefit from being edited for content, context, and formatting. While informative, it lacks citations.
  • Australian Army Cadets – To much information. The article is somewhat spammed with excess information which can be deemed as irrelevant to the general public. Sources not states throughout the majority of the article.
  • Toonami (Asia) This Article is about an upcoming television channel in South-East Asia. Help me to match it with Wikipedia Wiki Verification.
Article removed. 4DHS (talk) 06:25, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
I removed the strike-out that was previously in place for this article above; the article exists (appears to have been recreated) and remains in need of work. Northamerica1000(talk) 01:31, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Do you have any sources you could provide that would suggest this claim? 4DHS (talk) 06:49, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

  • Letter of credit – Much uncited material. Confusing. Self-published sources. It's difficult to find good sources; Google searches turn up Investopedia, sites promoting various financial products, "standby letter of credit" scams, and other junk sources. It's a real topic, but probably needs to be cited to some offline book. This needs attention by a financial professional. John Nagle (talk) 04:56, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
  • UVB-76 – It was ok before but recently editors have been adding information about the station's day-to-day business which is really not that interesting or notable and reads more like a logbook than an article. CodeCat (talk) 12:14, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Puffed grain – No inline citations. 3 Further reading section entries exist that may possibly be usable to improve the article. Northamerica1000(talk) 13:26, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Pizza delivery – Lead requires expansion. Needs more inline citations per "citation needed" tags.
Nearly 3x length of lead. Could still use some work, but much better than what it was. ComfyKem (talk) 18:26, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
  • History of pizza – Several clean-up matters tagged atop the article.
  • Sicilian pizza – Would benefit from expansion. Has exactly one source as of this post.
The article's sourcing has been improved, and it has been slightly expanded. Northamerica1000(talk) 23:58, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
Northamerica1000(talk) 13:54, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

  • Bondo (putty) Generally sloppy. Only one citation. Very biased tone. Information about the product is very limited and does not include information about other products in the Bondo line (fiberglass filler, plastic filler, etc.) or any history on the brand. Not much information on how it works or why it is used (it is also extensively used for sculpture and modification of consumer goods). Doesn't even contain a link to the product web page. • Metabolic window - Very badly constructed and poorly written. Sources listed by last name in the article, but not present in Notes or References section. • The Sopranos: The whole article is unbelievably laboured throughout. Extent of content in Info' box has been discussed previously, and has been debated extensively but to no avail, thanks to the aggressive participation of non-registered IPs. • Bank of Hawaii – History section is very choppy, could use organization and consolidation into paragraphs. Most of the article is within its "History" section; better organization with new sections may be an improvement. Much of the content is missing inline citations.
 – Added lede to the article. Northamerica1000(talk) 18:45, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
  • Quarantine technology – Unreferenced. Citations and clarification needed. Primarily in list format; conversion to prose may be an improvement. Article tagged as providing insufficient context.
  • Duane Hagadone – Lede is very short. List formatting could use conversion to prose.
  • Halton Hills Public Library – Some sections are very long without any inline citations, could use some reduction. Article has no inline citations. "Assets" section could use rewriting to clarify the content.
  • Hai Sing Catholic School – Prose is choppy, much of the article is in list format, which may be better as prose. The verifiability of the article is tagged as disputed. Unreferenced as of this post.

*Jeanie Johnston - "Personal communication" as a reference. Would someone please look at (and probably revert) this edit of Jeanie Johnston [6] I would explain that <ref>{{Personal communication, Aiseanna Mara Teoranta}}</ref> is not acceptable, (and it is tagged as such), but in the light of the reason given for the changes: (I reverted some of user Lugnad's changes, as he or she deleted withouth comment several unfavourable, but researched and sourced facts about the ship. Also fixed some typos.) It might be better received from someone other than I. Just to add, I have no idea what changes of mine are being referred to. Thanks, Lugnad (talk) 11:34, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for responding Lugnad (talk) 18:31, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
I've chopped the pers. comm. ref and claim. Bet it comes back. Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:51, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Football hooliganism – Could use some copy editing. Some sections need more references. Some of the references need better formatting. The article would benefit from some of the information being condensed. Northamerica1000(talk) 06:44, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
  • Stormworld – The article has significant lists that could be changed to prose. Could use more references. Could use images. Northamerica1000(talk) 06:31, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
  • Open University of Sudan - A user that seems to be related to this university added lots of content. First I've rollbacked it, than I've replaced and fixed it as a minor layout copyedit. All this content is related to this university and may be useful but I still have the doubt that it's wroten as a sort of Brochure. --Dэя-Бøяg 21:23, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
 – Information very likely copied and pasted, or written verbatim per University literature has been removed. The article is now a stub. Northamerica1000(talk) 08:00, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

January

 – The article appears to be cleaned up as of this post. Northamerica1000(talk) 11:44, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
 – The article appears to be cleaned up as of this post. Northamerica1000(talk) 11:40, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
  • 1984 in organized crime – No lede section. Empty "births" section. Unreferenced. Needs more references. Would benefit from summaries preceding the list information in its sections.
 – Added a lede sentence. Northamerica1000(talk) 13:57, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Early classical guitar recordings – No lede section. Some of the content in the "History of early classical guitar recordings" section may be better rewritten in a list format.
 – Added a lede sentence. Northamerica1000(talk) 16:03, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Eco Marine Power – An article about a company that develops and markets environmentally friendly power and propulsion systems for ships and other vessels. The article is tagged as written like an advertisement, could use some rewriting. I added a few references to the article, which could be used for more inline citations.
 – The article has been cleaned up. It would still benefit from copy editing. Northamerica1000(talk) 11:46, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
  • Economy of Cuba – The "Public Facilities" and "Other statistics" sections are entirely in list format. Article could use more inline citations, references.
