I am nominating this awards list for FL status because I believe it qualifies and I have made several improvements to the list based on suggestions made in the peer review process. Thanks! -Another Believer (talk) 02:45, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
These types of lists usually have one sentence explaining how they rose to prominence. Which this list does not have.
After the group was signed to the independent record label A Touch of Class, their songs "Electrobix" and "Comfortably Numb" (a Pink Floyd cover) were picked up by underground DJs in electroclubs. -- This doesn't really say that they gained to prominence, I would mention in this sentence that their songs being picked up gave them a boost in popularity or something along those lines.--TRUCO 22:57, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
While experiencing only limited mainstream success in the United States, the band has been hugely successful in Europe, Canada, Australia, and particularly in the U.K., where they have achieved a number of chart hits and their debut album was the best-selling album in the nation. -- (1)hugely is a pov-ish word, reword (2)the last part should be reworded to "where their debut album was the best-selling album, and have achieved numerous chart hits in that nation."
Done and done. Changed "hugely" to "more", used here as a relative term.
(Opt.)Change United States second occurrence into acronym form.
The Award itself is a solid bronze sculpture of Euterpe – the muse of lyric poetry. -- this needs a source.
Comment: Actually, I went ahead and removed this. Not relevant, and certainly not necessary.
The NME Awards are an annual music awards show founded by the music magazine NME. -- Source?--TRUCO 02:22, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Comment Looks pretty good, only two minor comments: Year columns should be centered. And the Other recognitions section isn't mentioned in the lead, and per WP:LEAD, the lead should summarize all major points/sections in the article. Drewcifer (talk) 00:08, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Years are now centered. I am assuming "Overall, the Scissor Sisters have received 6 awards from 17 nominations" needs to be the last sentence of the header, but how do you think the Other recognitions section should be incorporated in the lead? In the past, I have tried to include a sentence like "also listed are additional recognitions received by XXX", but was told it was unnecessary. Also, please note that similar lists for Fiona Apple, Amy Winehouse, Rufus Wainwright do not mention the "other" recognitions in the lead. --Another Believer(Talk) 00:37, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
The fact that other list have gotten through FLC without something doesn't mean they should have, and that doesn't mean that this list should either. And I don't think the overall tally does the trick, since those awards aren't part of the tally of 6 wins from 17 nominations, so that sentence in fact completely ignores the other awards. I'm not saying you need much, just a sentence or something to address it in a very broad sense. Drewcifer (talk) 02:55, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
