Project
WikiProject Baseball Hall of Fame was founded on April 10, 2012 to record, preserve, and organize articles relevant to the history of the Baseball Hall of Fame and that of all related articles on Wikipedia. This project follows the guidelines set forth by our parent project, WikiProject Baseball. If you think you can make a positive contribution to the project, please feel free to become a member by joining the list of members. If you're looking for guidance on where to begin, or if you have any ideas or comments, you can address the project's discussion forum.

Scope
An article falls under the scope of this WikiProject if it entails anything directly related to a baseball Hall of Fame (i.e. establishments, inductees, balloting, etc).
Tasks & Goals
Tasks
  • Use the {{WikiProject Baseball}} project template to tag talk pages of all Baseball Hall of Fame related articles, rating their quality and importance for our specific project. Utilize the WikiProject Baseball template page for an explanation on how to do this.
  • Upload free-use pictures relating to Baseball Hall of Fames to Wikimedia Commons. This includes photos of inductees, establishments, and anything else that could be incorporated into an article within our scope.
  • Quickly revert or undo any vandalism made to a Hall of Fame related article.
  • Improve overall syntax and grammar in any related article.
  • Provide more citations to any related article.
Long-term goal
  • Improve all Hall of Fame related articles to a higher assessed status. Although unrealistic, the ultimate goal is to have all articles within our scope achieve Featured Article or Featured List status. However, it is realistic to have Hall of Fame biographies reach Good Article status, as there should be sufficient biographical information on each individual. Check here to see more specific progress.
