Just got my first DSLR! Could I get some feedback on this product-type shot? I don't have a lightbox but I did the best I could at the moment....

The lighting is good. The tilt needs fixing. Something has gone wrong with the post processing though. Note the weird purple colour of the shadow and edges of the golden parts. Has this been cut out? I don't think there's a tilt - I used the grid tool to align everything. I didn't exactly cut it out - used the curves tool to white out things that were light but not quite while. Maybe I didn't do it evenly for each color, which resulted in the weird shadows. Besides that, I played with the color balance only on a global basis.
