Wikipedia:Requested articles/Geographical regions is a list of significant subnational entities without articles. The names are given in a standardized style, including country name: where unique, a link to a short version of the name is also given. For requests related to less significant political regions or those that lack an FIPS region code, see Geography, cities, regions and named places requested articles.

Please do not add new entries here unless they have a FIPS region code.

Please help create links to existing articles on these subnational entities, linking both the long and the short form of the name if possible. Alternatively, if no article exists, you may want to create a new article, but please check first for all possible variants of the name, as local names may differ from usual English usage for those names.

Note that for some countries, all or almost all of the articles exist, but may have different orthography or lack diacritics. In case of very recent administrative reorganizations no yet included into the FIPS list the entities listed may no longer exist, but then an article stating that information would also be helpful.
