The result of the debate was Redirect ^demon[omg plz] 01:22, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Cite mailinglist (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Obsoleted by {{Cite mailing list}}. grendel|khan 16:34, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete If it's obsolete, delete :). Jmlk17 19:25, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I wonder why you created the other one - did you just not know about the first one? Anyway, redirect to whichever one is more comprehensive. Quarl (talk) 2007-04-21 08:46Z
  • Merge edit histories if necessary, then redirect. –Pomte 19:32, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect - I think that a redirect should be done for convenience, and frankly, why not? "Redirects are cheap"—my new favorite quote. And my other, more pressing question: why is {{cite mailing list}} needed, as it adds little functionality to {{cite web}}? Is it semantic? Does Grendelkhan intend on making it more unlike the latter soon, if that's possible? GracenotesT § 01:50, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't foresee any significant changes to the template that would distinguish it from {{cite web}}. However, not all mailing lists are published on the web, so this is a good semantic reason. All the other cite templates are similar enough anyway that I don't know why we don't combine them into one huge {{cite}}. –Pomte 00:02, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

North - the {{prod}} template is not used for template deletions - only articles -- master_sonTalk - Edits 03:46, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
