WikiProject TAFI

Today's Article For Improvement star.svg

Welcome to Today's articles for improvement (TAFI). Each week we identify underdeveloped articles that require improvement. Our goal is to use widespread collaborative editing to improve articles to Good article, Featured article or Featured list quality over a short time frame.

Here we:

  1. Identify candidate articles;
  2. Select the order they appear on the community portal in the Today's articles for improvement section;
  3. Coordinate and collaborate to improve articles.

All articles selected to be TAFI are submitted and approved by participating editors at the nominations page. Successful nominations are placed in the holding area.

Ten articles are randomly selected and voted upon in the Talk page under a "Voting" subheading. The winning article is placed in the schedule.

When it is an article's turn to be the week's article, is tagged at the top with the template {{TAFI}}. After an article is no longer the current TAFI, the template {{Former TAFI}} is added to the talk page, showing the before and after improvements.

You can help with this project by helping to improve our listed articles. For more information on how to get involved, consult the coordination page and the talk page. You can also invite an editor to join this project using the invitation found here.
This week's article for improvement is:

Ancient Roman architecture

Aqueduct of Segovia 08.jpg

Arches were used in Ancient Roman architecture to build aqueducts, such as the Aqueduct of Segovia

Please be bold and help to improve this article!

Vote for future TAFI selections.

Articles and lists nominated here can be about any topic on Wikipedia. Topics that are likely to appeal to a wide variety of editors are encouraged. Stub-Class, Start-Class and C-Class articles are ideal for nomination, as they often have potential for improvement. Topics are presently categorized using the 10 topical areas listed under Peer review, with one additional category. These current areas are:

  • Arts
  • Applied Sciences and Technology
  • Natural Sciences
  • Everyday Life
  • Geography
  • History
  • Language and Literature
  • Mathematics
  • People/Companies/Organisations
  • Philosophy and Religion
  • Society and Social Sciences

Nominations should include an article's currently assessed Class Rating, as well as the average number of daily hits (see www.stats.grok.se). Successfully nominated articles are moved into the Holding Area, until they are added into the Schedule.

All nominations will be automatically archived by ClueBot III once they are marked with {{Approved}} (for successful nominations) or {{Unapproved}} (for unsuccessful nominations).

Article collaboration[edit]

This project has an internal Article collaboration page, to provide a space for ongoing article collaborations and their discussion.

Note: Please list articles at the Article collaboration page below, to notify editors of their presence.
