Interview requests[edit]

If you'd like your WikiProject featured in an upcoming WikiProject report, feel free to add it to the list below. Note that these requests are entirely advisory, and may or may not be used in future reports. Please keep requests short and concise.

  • WikiProject Good articles with a focus on the GA Cup. Last year, a report on this WikiProject was held. This year, I was hoping that we could do it again...this time focusing on how much of a success the first GA Cup was. The competition is starting on July 1 so I was hoping we could get a report in the Signpost in either the first on second week of June. We want to prove that the GA Cup "is the next big thing" and we are aiming to make it an even bigger success this year! @3family6, Figureskatingfan, Jaguar, MrWooHoo, and TheQ Editor: (plus me) are the judges for the competition and would take part in the report if they want. I would be part of it 100%. :) --Dom497 (talk) 11:34, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Go Phightins! would you like to take care of this given the timeframe? Rcsprinter123 (chat) @ 16:37, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Dom497, Rcsprinter123: I am absolutely fine with running something on this. Dom, if you would prefer, you are welcome to write an op-ed on the subject, encouraging people to contribute based on its past success, or if you would rather, we can do an interview-type deal. Let me know what works best for you. All the best, Go Phightins! 00:14, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
@Figureskatingfan: Wanna write a dual-op-ed? Or maybe get a few of the other judges involved? I don't really care if its op-ed or interview but I will say an op-ed will probably generate more interest. Thanks Go Phightins.--Dom497 (talk) 02:14, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
I'm fine with a dual op-ed; it seems to make the best sense in this instance. Dom, I think that you and I should handle it, since we're most familiar with the 1st GA Cup. What's the deadline? I can imagine the piece appearing the second week of June. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 04:19, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
We can publish the first or second week in June. We do have a WP report this week, so either of those weeks would work. We publish Wednesday night UTC (in theory), so if you could be done the Monday evening UTC before the Wednesday evening on which you'd like to publish, that would be excellent. Go Phightins! 14:37, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
@Figureskatingfan: Wanna get an intro going? I'm horrible at those! :) --Dom497 (talk) 13:59, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
No prob. I'll try and get it done today or tomorrow. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 14:22, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
That's perfectly fine with me. Erick (talk) 23:55, 23 May 2015 (UTC) EDIT: Maybe we could have the interview sometime in late September to coincide with the Latin Grammy nominations (of which the Latin music project scope is based on)? Erick (talk) 14:20, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
That's fine. Why don't you remind me nearer the time. Rcsprinter123 (drawl) @ 15:16, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
Will do, thank you for taking your time. Erick (talk) 15:58, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
