[edit] Needing work

If you're working on an article and you'd like to bring it to the attention of other editors, list it here. There should be no more than 20 articles listed at one time. Put the newest at the top and delete from the bottom when the total is over 20. Format: # [[Article title]], class. Details on what should be done (optional). ~~~~

  1. 2011 Horn of Africa drought. Should be expanded and updated. Arjuno (talk 03:30, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
  2. Chad Basin: i created the article the Chad Basin, but now i need assistance to bring it up to the correct Wikipedia standards. Thanks --Assarhaddon 06:45, 30. June 2011 (UTC)
  3. luwii i have made a change to an article (Zambia Adventist University) but the change is not taking effect. the unversity changed its name to Rusangu Unveersity, can any one tell me what i can do for the i make to the article to take effect. luwii 21:49, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Resolved. --Banana (talk) 06:10, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
  4. Chad Cameroon Petroleum Development and Pipeline Project I am working on this article for a class at Syracuse University, and would appreciate any advice or insights as I go along. Katheb246 (talk) 23:03, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
The existing article is actually at Chad–Cameroon Petroleum Development and Pipeline Project (the difference is just a hyphen). I've created a redirect for convenience, so that red link is now a blue link. If I could offer a pointer, it would be sources. Find more sources which mention the project. The World Bank and IFC appear to have some good background information although there's a handful of relevant case-studies &c in Google Scholar too. Beware of websites which "mirror" content from wikipedia (maybe a copy of an older version of that page). Looks interesting; good luck with it! bobrayner (talk) 00:07, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
  5. Basankusu I've written the whole thing apart from the opening credits - and supplied the photos - there must be someone else who can provide a different perspective. It's quite an important hub in the DRC, especially for conservation. Francis Hannaway 18:37, 31 October 2010 (UTC) (talk)
  6. Panel of the Wise, stub. Just created article, needs more everything. Plenty of sources out there. Sjb0926 (talk) 03:44, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
  7. Rozwi Empire Lengthy merged article that needs more references, organization, hyperlinks, etc. Possibly contains original research and reads like an essay. Needs attn from someone familiar w the subject, as I read it and still am unclear (the Culture section is particularly opaque). Marcipangris (talk) 20:34, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
  8. Traditional African Medicine I am working on this article for a class at Duquesne University and could use any edits, revisions, and suggestions on how to make the article better and more coherent.Mitchel2 (talk) 02:26, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
  9. 2003 Afro-Asian Games needs assessment. Also request for making this article the collaboration of the month.
  10. African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights needs assessment, and expansion, especially application and rulings.
  11. Constitution of South Africa Chapter 2: Bill of Rights needs assessment and expansion (rulings, recent developments) and link across to other SA articles.
  12. National Youth Service (Zimbabwe), Stub class. Requesting a reassessment now that I have rewritten it to provide sources and to include the government POV. Image added under fair use; is it in the public domain in the US? WillOakland (talk) 22:03, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
  13. Wikipedia:Translation/Félix_Houphouët-Boigny, Start class. A cooperative translation from French Wikipedia's fr:Félix Houphouët-Boigny, which was a Featured article there, has begun. Please signup at the link above. T L Miles (talk) 14:48, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
  14. Hayton A.A., Brigadier Brigadier A. A. Africa ?? D.S.O. Chairman, National Liberation Council for Apollo_11_Goodwill_Messages#Ghana --Termer 06:08, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
  15. Zémidjan, stub. I started it, don't have time to develop it into a proper article yet. Anyone have a better picture? (Bengl 02:01, 30 September 2007 (UTC))
  16. Big Brother Africa 2, start. Just needs more editors and attention - references are widely available, it just needs more input. Seaserpent85Talk 00:07, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
  17. Viriato da Cruz, start. Angolan politician & poet. Needs copy editing and references. Belovedfreak 11:54, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
  18. The Historical Background to Church Activities in Zambia, This is a new article, but based on previous work and I need assistance to bring it up to the correct Wikipedia standards. Thanks.
  19. Ashanti, article. I think the article could be expanded and refined. It's still a bit rough and some of the information even if its true or beneficial will be deleted without proper citation. Research on this subject shouldn't be too difficult. Higher standards
  20. History of CAF, needs assessment. Lengthy article, needs more references, probably some organization and pictures. - Adel.M.Radwan (talk) 20:20, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
