Guild of Copy Editors' requests page The goal of the Guild of Copy Editors is to improve articles in the English Wikipedia by improving articles tagged for copy editing using {{copyedit}}, and by maintaining the category of articles needing copy edit. This page is where you can list requests specifically for copy editing. Instructions for making a request If the article is to be a Good Article nomination or a Featured Article candidate, please try to have the copy editing done before the process starts, not after the nomination. Please note that having your article copy edited by our team does not guarantee that the prose will be considered acceptable to your GA or FA reviewers. Please do not list more than three articles at a time. To make a request, use the following format: ===[[Articlename]]=== Comments ~~~~ Please put new requests at the bottom. Instructions for copy editors Please ensure you are familiar with the Wikipedia Manual of Style and are familiar with the expectations for editing for the GOCE, as outlined in our Step by Step guide. Articles that are potential Featured Article candidates should only be handled by experienced editors. Please do not put yourself down for more than one article at any one time. Multiple bookings are not encouraged. If you have signed on but cannot fulfill a request for any reason, please update the status here so that someone else can continue from where you stopped. Kublai Khan

This is a massive article, which happens to be in pretty poor shape. My initial objective was to get this to GA level, but before I can even begin to think about that, it needs to be copyedited. Whoever takes this on should be willing and able to shave large amounts of prose out, as it seems like portions of the article deal more with the Yuan Dynasty than they do Kublai. Gloucester County College

Hi. I asked for this article to be peer reviewed, and one of the comments was that some sections lacked clarity. Given that I'd written much of the article - it was originally a stub - I can't see either a lack of clarity or how to improve the writing, so I need an outside pair of eyes (or two, or three, or...) to do it. Any improvements in tone would also be appreciated; at the time, it was said to be too positive, but I think the introduction of much more details in various places has helped with that - however, I'm biased.
