For those of you who are new to Wikipedia, this WikiProject has no political, religious or national affiliation. ALL ARE WELCOME!

Welcome to WikiProject Iran - a WikiProject set up to cooperate on all articles related to Iran and Iranians. The project covers the present and past of the Iranian cultural continent, including the Greater Iran related articles. The project was formed by Iranian Wikipedians on 18 March 2006. Its goals are to:
- Improve the quality and quantity of Iran related articles, including improving Iran to featured article status.
- Present a realistic view of Iran and the Iranian people in the world.
- Make Wikipedia a primary and reliable source of Iran related information.
- Present a holistic view of Iran and her cultural satellites, and balance any biased information.
