From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

A list of 715 Australian and Tasmanian languages and dialects were obtained by searching for 'confirmed' varieties at AIATSIS on 2014-Feb-12. WP redirects were created to the appropriate articles, apart from one questionable name.

Wergaia might should be split.

Potential languages are problematic. Those without data have not been listed.

Confirmed languages[edit]

New languages are confirmed at AIATSIS as data is analyzed. Preferred AIATSIS spellings are frequently changed; changes between March and October for half of the DB are indicated in parentheses.
