Welcome to the Latin American military history task force! To make categorization easier, this group covers both Latin America and the smaller but closely-related Commonwealth Caribbean. If you have any questions about articles or are generally seeking advice, please ask at the main military history talk page, or you can directly approach one of the task force participants below.

The coordinators of the Military history WikiProject can be contacted here.

Scope[edit]

This task force covers the military histories of all Central and South American groups and states including Mexico and the islands of the Commonwealth Caribbean, as well as military activity in these regions by outside powers. It also includes all of the military units, such as ships, that fought under the flags of countries within the task force's scope.

Any article related to this task force should be marked by adding Latin-American-task-force=yes to the {{WPMILHIST}} project banner at the top of its talk page (see the project banner instructions for more details on the exact syntax). This will automatically place it into Category:Latin American military history task force articles.
