Welcome to WikiProject New York (WPNY), a WikiProject dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of the US state of New York. All editors interested in improving articles related to New York are encouraged to join the project by signing up at Participants.
Scope and goals[edit]
WikiProject New York covers all articles relating to the US state of New York. As such, this project's primary goal is to categorize, improve, and organize articles relating to the state.

Guidelines and structure[edit]
Articles within the scope of this project shall use the article structure guideline laid out by the most relevant WikiProject for a given article. For example, an article on a school should use WikiProject Schools's guideline and structure, while an article on a state-maintained or state-designated highway should use WikiProject New York State Routes's guideline and structure.
