This WikiProject is a collaboration that aims to organize, expand, improve the quality, and provide accurate information in an established, community-drive, Wikipedia standard for the province of Quebec, Canada, and its related articles.

This project covers articles relating to Quebec, Canada

  1. Quebec is one of the four founding provinces of Canada.
  2. Quebec is the largest province by area in Canada. (2.7 times bigger in area than France and 6 times bigger in area than the UK.)
  3. Quebec is the second most populous province in Canada.
  4. Hydro-Québec is the largest producer of hydro electricity in the world.
  5. The most common family name in Canada is Tremblay: 180,000 people have this family name or one in 42 Quebecois.
  6. The composer of Canada's national anthem, Calixa Lavallée, was born in Quebec.
  7. The Port of Quebec is Canada's oldest port.
  8. Tadoussac, Quebec, established in 1599, is the oldest settlement in Canada.
  9. Quebec is the world's largest producer of Maple Syrup, claiming more than 75% of the world's production.
  10. The Château Frontenac in Quebec City is the most photographed hotel in the world.
  11. The narrowest house in North America is located on rue Donnaconna in Quebec City
