Our tools [edit]

Article news and alerts [edit]

The article alerts list provides information on which sociology-related Wikipedia articles are subject to various discussions, including peer review requests, or are in need of urgent assistance and/or review.

Most popular pages [edit]

See our most popular articles here.

New article feed [edit]

The list below contains recent (~2-3 weeks old) articles which contain the string "sociolog" in them. They should be reviewed to see if they fit in the scope of the project. If they do, our WikiProject assessment template should be added to them, and they need to be assessed on their discussion page for quality and importance. Various copyediting may be required, such as adding a stub template or categories, and the article creators may need to be welcomed to Wikipedia and/or invited to our project.

Articles inappropriate for Wikipedia should be nominated for deletion (see WP:PROD and WP:AFD for how-to).

For the list of the new articles, check the box below.

Categories [edit]

Categories are added to the bottom of Wikipedia articles, and allow categorization of all articles within Wikipedia. For more on sociology-related categories, see the box below.

WikiProject templates [edit]

Templates used by this project for various purposes include:

Stub template [edit]

A stub template is added to the bottom of stub (tiny) articles, to indicate they are ripe for expansion. For how to, check the box below.

Userboxes [edit]

Userboxes can be added to one's user page to show one's interests or make other statements about oneself. You may want to use userboxes identifying your command in various languages, alma mater, or your favorite wikiprojects. The following userboxes are related to our project or sociology in general:

WikiProject assessment template [edit]

The WikiProject Sociology template should be added to each sociology-related article. It will then enable its inclusion in our article alerts, copyedit-needed listing, and other tools.
