Article structure[edit]

See Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and Manga#Article_structure for inspiration.

Format changes made to these articles should be the focused with the goal of structural improvements, which can then be imitated in other articles of the same type. Some articles can grow far too long thus leading to the lack of an over arching style. They also come under criticism for being "In-Universe". anything that can be written about from a real-world perspective should be written that way.

  • Character lists - Characters with too little information to warrant a full page should be in a single list page. The list pages should separate characters by character alliance or importance, they must be listed alphabetically. The list should not be broken up based on manga-only characters, anime-only characters or video game-only characters. Each entry should give a brief recap of their involvement in the series and character traits as well as a quick note as to which media they appear in.
  • Character pages - Main characters (Dante, Vergil), and any other character with enough information (Sparda) should receive their own page. Each page should give a brief (three paragraphs maximum) recap of their involvement in the series, describe character traits, talk about the character's allegiance, demonic transformations and other important traits, trivia sections should be as short as possible and must only contain interesting material that appeals the casual reader.
  • Music - Pages based on soundtracks released to promote the game should have full details of the track list and release dates and they should contain a section explaining the music (composers, inspiration), these pages must be linked to the pages belonging to the soundtracks themselves.
  • Video Game pages - each Devil May Cry video game should have its own page. This being the first and most popular aspect of the series, for an example of how a video game article should be structured see Devil May Cry 2.
  • Supplemental Books - there should be a page listing the release dates and names of novel and manga volumes.

  • Template - A template must be created to alert users that may need help about this task force.

  • "Other" Pages containing relevant material that fall outside this categories should be treated in a unique way regarding their importance.
