Wikipedia Goes to the Movies was an edit-a-thon, Wikipedia meet-up and workshop that was be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, as part of the Wikipedia Loves Libraries global campaign, as a direct successor to last year's smash hit Wikipedia:The Musical.

  • Address: 40 Lincoln Center Plaza (64th St. between Broadway and Amsterdam avenues). Directions: Go towards the back of the plaza, around to the right of the Met opera house and just left of the Vivian Beaumont Theatre.
  • Phone: (917) 275-6975
  • Time: Noon - 5 p.m.
  • Room: The Reserve Film & Video Screening Room on the Third Floor

The goal was to improve Wikipedia articles and content related to WikiProject Film - or any article that could use library resources.
