Your question appears to be misplaced. Perhaps you meant to ask this at Talk:Bollywood. --—— Gadget850 (Ed) talk - 11:02, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Page background color FAQ

Is this section "Why are the backgrounds of some pages light blue and others white?" no longer relevant, as the default skin (eg the one readers will be using) no longer makes this distinction? — Pretzels Hii! 22:18, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Too many shortcuts

Does there really need to be a shortcut link for every single question?? WP:RFAQ#RESEARCH for example.. totally unnecessary IMO, and it makes the page look ugly. Anyone care if I remove most of them? -- œ 11:37, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Hmm. I agree that they're ugly or cluttering; however, they are there so that other editors can easily link to the subsections in a way that won't change (i.e. if the headers or page-titles are ever updated, e.g. WP:BFAQ#COMPANY links still work, even after the page was moved from FAQ/Business to FAQ/Organizations), and also give context to the readers as to why they arrived halfway down the page.
I took a quick look around, and noticed a thread at Wikipedia_talk:FAQ_Index#SHortcut_overload. I haven't read through it, but it might be worth doing so, and possibly restarting that thread (either there, or at VP, or somewhere). HTH. :) -- Quiddity (talk) 19:46, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Reflecting on feedback

I've been studying the feedback from my watchlist and I'd like to suggest an FAQ - "Why is some text in blue?". It is clear that some readers fail to realise that by clicking on the wikilink, you can find out more about people, places and terms used in the article. As this is one of the fundamental advantages of wikipedia as an encyclopaedia, they are missing out on what we offer. Also, is there any chance of making this reader help more visible on the page?Monstrelet (talk) 11:35, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
