The article on Abhang is a stub though it is a part of Classical Musics. I am planning on Adding more Data to it, I would request editors versed in the topic to once verify the additions. Psgs123xyz (talkcontribs) 16:29 8th December 2014

WikiProject X is live![edit]

WikiProject X icon.svg

Hello everyone!

You may have received a message from me earlier asking you to comment on my WikiProject X proposal. The good news is that WikiProject X is now live! In our first phase, we are focusing on research. At this time, we are looking for people to share their experiences with WikiProjects: good, bad, or neutral. We are also looking for WikiProjects that may be interested in trying out new tools and layouts that will make participating easier and projects easier to maintain. If you or your WikiProject are interested, check us out! Note that this is an opt-in program; no WikiProject will be required to change anything against its wishes. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Note: To receive additional notifications about WikiProject X on this talk page, please add this page to Wikipedia:WikiProject X/Newsletter. Otherwise, this will be the last notification sent about WikiProject X.

Issues on Hinduism[edit]

The main article, Hinduism, in its current state contains a lot of errors, including the misrepresentation of sources. It requires a strict review. Kindly view the conversation at Talk:Hinduism#Article issues. Delibzr (talk) 23:51, 28 February 2015 (UTC)

Opened a Rfc now. Delibzr (talk) 06:54, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

Page for upacharas?[edit]

Reading Namaste, I came across the term "upacharas" with no explanation. There is no page for it. I linked it as [[upachara]]s, producing the redlink upacharas to at least show that it should be linked.

I am not a Hindu or particularly familiar with South Asian customs,* and certainly not qualified to even create a stub, so I'm bringing the matter here. Namaste.* --Thnidu (talk) 19:59, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

* Well, one or two. :-)

  • Thanks for pointing that out, Thnidu. I have created a quick and dirty stub at upachara. Hopefully other will help expand, improve, categorize etc. Pinging @Redtigerxyz: who is knowledgeable and active in the area. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 21:22, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
Thnidu, upachara has multiple meaning. Can you please throw in some light on the context/article in question. --Redtigerxyz Talk 04:50, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
Redtigerxyz, as I said in my original comment in this §, I found the word in Namaste. It's in the 2nd ¶ of § Namaste#Uses. As Abecedare says, they've created a stub for it. --Thnidu (talk) 01:02, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
Thnidu, sorry I missed it. When I read Namaste, I thought it as a greeting, rather than an article. Abecedare's article is accurate and solves the problem for now. --Redtigerxyz Talk 06:06, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

Category: Hindu religious workers[edit]

My personal impression is that Category:Hindu religious workers has become quite a mess. It also seems like Christian occupation categories (saints, monks, priests, religious leaders) have been imposed here while they are not applicable the same way. Could you please have a look if you see a way to improve the categorization? Marcocapelle (talk) 15:39, 9 May 2015 (UTC)

GA review[edit]

Hi can anyone do a GA review of Hinduism in Afghanistan? RRD13 দেবজ্যোতি (talk) 17:23, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
