[edit] A Puerto Ricans New Year Wish
[edit] Chayanne discography
Hello everyone! I hope you had a great Holiday season! Anyways, I'm working on Chayanne's discography to make it FLC on my sandbox. On a related note, I've created a category for Puerto Rican musicians. I only included those born in Puerto Rico not Americans of Puerto Rican descent. Erick (talk) 08:38, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
- Specify in the category that it is only about Puerto Ricans born in the island, since as you know those born in the US to Puerto Rican parents such as J-Lo and Marc Anthony rightfully claim their Puerto Rican heritage and identify as such. [edit] FAR Notification
I have nominated Héctor Lavoe for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Dana boomer (talk) 03:16, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
[edit] WikiWomen's History Month
Hi everyone. March is Women's History Month and I'm hoping a few folks here at WP:Puerto Rico will have interest in putting on events (on and off wiki) related to women's roles in Puerto Rico's history, society and culture. We've created an event page on English Wikipedia (please translate!) and I hope you'll find the inspiration to participate. These events can take place off wiki, like edit-a-thons, or on wiki, such as themes and translations. Please visit the page here: WikiWomen's History Month. Thanks for your consideration and I look forward to seeing events take place! SarahStierch (talk) 23:26, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
[edit] Notice
I was wondering, are any of you a registered user in the Spanish Wikipedia? I need someone over there to move the page of "Manuel Rojas" from "Manuel Rojas (politico)" to "Manuel Rojas (revolucionario)". Our Manuel Rojas wasn't a politician, he was a great revoluntionary leader in our Grito de Lares. Besides, people over there tent to confuse him with a Manuel Rojas who was a politician in Chile. Gracias Tony the Marine (talk) 17:00, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
