Definition of town and city[edit]

I notice there is a degree of confusion about whether to translate Stadt as "city" or "town" because it can mean either. Because the official definition of Großstadt in Germany is a Stadt with a population of 100,000 or more; we have used this on the German WikiProject as the guide. So Städte with less than 100,000 people are called "towns" and above that "cities". We could adopt the same convention for WikiProject Austria too. --Bermicourt (talk) 12:41, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
