Fractural analysis of concrete[edit]

If anyone who is knowledgeable about concrete reads this, please see my posting at the Afc: [[1]]. I could use some help with two articles that may need merging. —Anne Delong (talk) 18:38, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Articles on foundations.[edit]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shallow_foundations

No sources or anything. Same with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_foundations

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundation_%28engineering%29 is pretty weak too. I want to open a discussion on this. I'm sure there's a lot that can be discussed on foundations, including the issues with different types.

I wonder if anyone is still involved with this project. RocketLauncher2 (talk) 23:53, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Also it has the same citing-a-book-without-quoting-it garbage that most articles have, so it's hard to verify some of the information.RocketLauncher2 (talk) 00:01, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Institution of Civil Engineers editathon[edit]

Interested editors are invited to an editathon event at the Institution of Civil Engineers, in London, on 19 July 2013. See Wikipedia:GLAM/ICE. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:30, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

Paver discussion (vehicle)[edit]

Please join the conversation at Talk:Paver_(vehicle) on possibly splitting up the article into two articles one for asphalt and one for concrete. XFEM Skier (talk) 09:13, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

Cold planer/Cold milling machine[edit]

I just added articles Cold planer and Cold milling machine to your project. It looks to me like they are one and the same type of machine, and have proposed a merge, but it really needs subject experts to decide. I really can't tell from what is written if there is some subtle distinction. They both need references and serious rewrite. Thanks:-) --Derek Andrews (talk) 13:45, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

I rewrote them completely and moved the article to Pavement milling with redirects from the former pages. Feel free to edit and add the article. XFEM Skier (talk) 23:53, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

experienced editors needed at Energetically modified cement[edit]

The article appears to be pretty much an advertisement to me, but I have little knowledge in the field and so invite any one with background knowledge to come take a look. Thanks! -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 07:51, 18 March 2014 (UTC)

Comment on the WikiProject X proposal[edit]

Hello there! As you may already know, most WikiProjects here on Wikipedia struggle to stay active after they've been founded. I believe there is a lot of potential for WikiProjects to facilitate collaboration across subject areas, so I have submitted a grant proposal with the Wikimedia Foundation for the "WikiProject X" project. WikiProject X will study what makes WikiProjects succeed in retaining editors and then design a prototype WikiProject system that will recruit contributors to WikiProjects and help them run effectively. Please review the proposal here and leave feedback. If you have any questions, you can ask on the proposal page or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you for your time! (Also, sorry about the posting mistake earlier. If someone already moved my message to the talk page, feel free to remove this posting.) Harej (talk) 22:47, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
