Dan Leno[edit]

Dan Leno, the well-known Victorian actor, comedian and star of British music hall and musical comedy of the 1890s, has recently been expanded and is headed for WP:FA consideration. As a result, I am seeking comments in this Peer Review and I would be most greatful for any comments recieved. Thanks! -- Cassianto (talk) 01:00, 14 February 2012 (UTC

GA reassessment of The Chaser's War on Everything[edit]

For those interested, I am reviewing this article's GA status as I do not believe it meets the criteria. CR4ZE (tc) 12:15, 12 July 2014 (UTC)

Drama, or comedy, or both?[edit]

I added the {{WikiProject Comedy|class=stub|importance=low}} template to some of the character articles, but now I see in this and other places that Monarch of the Glen (TV series) is called a drama series. Wikipedia does not have a drama Wikiproject, but am I wrong about calling this a comedy series? I need to do fixes, if it is not also a comedy. My memory of this series might be hazy, but I do recall some rather funny things.--DThomsen8 (talk) 22:31, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

I have nominated John Mayer for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Snuggums (talk / edits) 18:52, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

Comedic genres[edit]

Hey there WikiProject, this article on Comedic genres has been unsourced since 2009, which means that it's basically a wall of original research masquerading as content. Does anybody have any references to support the definitions as well as the notable examples? It seems like a few editors crammed in a bunch of opinions and put their favorite comedians in the boxes where they thought they best fit. The side effect, is that numerous articles are linking to an article with no references, ostensibly to justify the genre designations. Not sure I agree with trying to pigeonhole comedians to certain genre. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:56, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

This article may have issues. I would hope interested contributors to fix them. --George Ho (talk) 04:01, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
