Request for comment on Biographies of living people[edit]

Hello Wikiproject! Currently there is a discussion which will decide whether wikipedia will delete 49,000 articles about a living person without references, here:

Since biographies of living people covers so many topics, nearly all wikiproject topics will be effected.

The two opposing positions which have the most support is:

supports the deletion of unreferenced articles about a living person, User:Jehochman
opposes the deletion of unreferenced articles about a living person, except in limited circumstances, User:Collect

Please keep in mind that at this point, it seems that editors support deleting unreferenced article if they are not sourced, so your project may want to pursue the projects below.

A maybe better layout for data developed in WP:EU[edit]

Hi! In the basque language wikipedia (WP:EU) we have developed a world map graphical system to put the state leaders by year. These work is not as complete as it's yours (as we have started this week with the data), but maybe could be useful for en:wp. The system can be seen, for example in current year: eu:2010#Agintariak. We have only 4 leadres now, but this can be expanded with a little work. We're using bots to put long leaders lapses.

It's based on Location map+ template, using the Location map World basemap and putting each leader using a template developed with the Location map~. We're now discussing about linking directly the flag and not a symbol, but the main idea is that.

Hey guys, ive been working pretty hard on this project for a while now. See here for my current status. Right now im wondering from which year i should include the Archbishopric of Mainz. Merge lists "List of state leaders in 000" to "List of state leaders in the 00th century"[edit]
